The headline told him enough. Scandal at St. Andrews.

Zeke scanned the article only fleetingly. It told about an incident at the prestigious private school St. Andrews in Willoughby. Two students had been caught red-handed by a teacher sharing "various sexual activities". The parents got informed instantly and the boys send down from school.

No names were mentioned - to protect the families against farther repercussions and prejudices, like it was written. But it could fit. Zeke had to admit this. He needed a moment to let it sink in. Casey was ... gay? He knew this shouldn't shock him that much. One of his best friends was gay and he had never had a problem with it. Far from it. Sometimes he almost envied him for his good relationship which already lasted for nearly two years now. His own record was about three month and it had ended with a big bang.

"See, I was right," Ben tore him out of his thoughts.
"I've told you, he's hiding something!"

Zeke looked at him thoughtfully. Obviously the boy was more than pleased with the whole story. Much too pleased. Zeke couldn't stop thinking about the tears in Casey's eyes when he rushed out of the garage. He wondered how he must feel right now. Maybe he should go and look after him.

"That's non of our business, Ben," he finally said.

"But he's fucking around with other guys."
Ben's eyes went wide.
"And you don't wanna know? Holy shit, he's living in your garage, Zeke! Are you not afraid that ..."

Zeke smirked.
"Don't be silly. I'm sure he isn't planning to jump at me!"

Ben snorted annoyed.
"He jumped at me!"

Zeke shrugged.
"Why does this make you wonder? What you did was below the belt. And if you would do something like this to me you wouldn't be able to stay here any longer, I can say you that."

For a short moment Ben looked unsure. Then he pulled the face.
"Oh fuck," he muttered.
"So you take sides with him. Great!"

Zeke rolled his eyes. He was running out of patience. Ben was much too enraged to listen.

"I'm taking no one's side," he sighed.
"Just so sick of it. You are acting worse than a kindergarten kid. But this is my garage. I can let work here whomever I want. I can let stay here whomever I want. If you have a problem with that you can fuck off anytime!"

Ben paled visibly. Zeke bit his lower lip. Great. Now he started overreacting too. But it was too late to take it back.

"So you let him stay ... and kick me out," Ben asked, his voice slightly trembling.

"I don't kick you out. But I guess it might be better if you go home for now and calm down a bit. Come back when you are ready to apologize to Casey. You owe him!"

Ben blinked wildly.
"I knew it," he said.
"I knew it in the very first moment when I saw him. Do you want him, Zeke?"

He narrowed his eyes.
"What do you mean," he asked in an icy voice.

"Do you want to put your dick into his stupid ass too? Is it that," Ben spat.

For a moment it was deadly silent. Finally Zeke took a deep breath.
"I guess," he said.
"You should better fuck off now and look for another job. We are done!"

Zeke poured himself a second glass of whisky. Normally he didn't drink much, only a beer after work, or two, that was enough. But today he needed it desperately. He was still confused. Mad about Ben, mad about Casey ,,, and mad about himself.

He should have known it better. Every time he let someone deeper into his life it ended with a disaster. Of course, he had some friends, he met them in the pub or they went to a movie. There were girls too, but nothing serious anymore, not after two fucked up relationships. He didn't blame the girls though, too much nearness just freaked him out.

The center of his life was his job. And Ben had been a part of it. He was smart and as car-nuts as he was. It was fun to work with him. To answer all his keen questions, to show him all the little tips and tricks which made the work in a repair-shop so much easier. One day he had spotted the wrecked Audi at a scrapyard, the ideal object for Ben to learn. They had restored it over the last few weeks. It was nearly finished now, only the paintwork still had to be done. He had planned to give him to Ben when he would graduate next year.

Zeke gulped down the rest of his drink and poured a new one. He felt bad. He knew all to good how much all this had meant for Ben. No one had believed in him before. Everyone had disappointed him again and again. He had always been afraid to lose again what he had found here.

But this was ridiculous, wasn't it? Casey ... he was not a rival. He knew nothing about cars. But, oh boy, he could cook! His bacon-onion-muffins were delicious. And ... okay ... he was ... cute. But ... Do you want to put your dick into his stupid ass too? What sort of question was this? No, of course not. He was not into other guys! Never was. Never would be. Ben and his stupid jealousy. He had fucked everything up. Casey was just a young boy who needed a place to stay for a few days, but soon enough he would have disappeared again out of Zeke's life.

Zeke swallowed. Over and done with. Ben was gone. Casey would go. And he would be alone again. Fuck it! One more whisky. The bottle was half empty now. But who cared? He liked it this way, right? Just him and his garage. No complications any more.

Boy has Ben ever stirred up a hornet's nest. Being jealous over Zeke's attention is understandable, but the way he went about trying to be number one again not only hurt Casey unnecessarily, but blew up in his own face.

But it did get Zeke thinking about things, didn't it? *giggles*

Yes, Zeke has a lot to think about ;)

I'm sure Zeke has a lot to think about now - Ben, Casey and his own life. And Ben - yeah, we will see if there will be a way back for him.

Awww, Zeke, you utter donkey. I can understand why he'd be mad at Ben. I don't tolerate homophobia either, especially directed at a friend, but to get drunk and wallow in self pity at his enforced loneliness is silliness. Go give Ben another chance. Go find Casey and let him cook you something to cure that hangover :D

Zeke can be as stubborn as Ben - put Casey in the middle between them and bang. A lot to think for all of them now.

What a mess! Zeke had given Ben such a great start in his career and it seemed to give him almost as much pleasure. What a terrible shame to waste it. And Casey is so new in his life, but he shouldn't squash his interest or feelings because of other's selfish demands. Unless ... were Ben and he lovers? Or was Ben attracted? I'm not totally sure?! Ben seems so mad at Casey being gay but maybe just because he might move in on Zeke. But what does Casey feel in all this? Next part please!!

It is a mess - indeed - for all of them. Next part? Sure, it's on.

Zeke needs to do some soul-searching and examine why he's drawn to these guys and decide does he want to lose them. Ben is just being young and stupid and he should try to get him back for his business. But he seems to have personal feelings for Casey, I think.

More now please.

There is a lot Zeke has to think about now - Ben and if he is able to forgive him - his feelings for Casey - his own life and where he wants to go ...

Oh, Ben. Why so emo, buddy? He's gone and fugged shite up now. He might be sensitive (and let's face it, homophobic) but he didn't need to get in Zeke's face, considering how good Zeke's been to the kid. The fact that he was gonna surprise Ben with the fixed-up Audi's particularly poignant. *sigh*

Yes, stupid Ben, he should start to grow up a bit. And poor Zeke, Ben means a lot to him, like a little brother you always wants to keep safe, but now it seems to be over.

Wow, what an explosion. I hope that Ben comes to his senses and comes back to apologise for his behaviour. One good things to come out of it - it's certainly got Zeke thinking about his attraction to Casey.

Oh yes, Zeke has a lot to think about now: Ben, Casey, his own life ... I wonder where all this is going to ;)
